Strategic Thinking & Growth
Helping organizations answer: where should we play, how do we create sustainable advantage, and how do we prepare for the future.

I work with CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs and manufacturing organizations to navigate growth, transformation, operational challenges and strategic decision-making — drawing on decades of leadership in large industrial organizations.
Converting complexity into clarity, and intent into execution.

Narendra Sharan is a former Senior Vice President of the Tata Group and an advisor to leading industrial organizations.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has worked across corporate strategy, manufacturing, business excellence, TQM and Deming journeys, organizational transformation, operational excellence, leadership development, performance management, and customer-centric business systems.
He has guided organizations through strategic renewal, cultural transformation, quality excellence journeys and execution challenges. His approach combines analytical rigour with practical implementation experience earned on the shop floor and in the boardroom.
I do not offer textbook solutions. I help leaders understand the real causes behind organizational problems — and design solutions that actually work.

Behind every world-class manufacturing operation is an almost invisible discipline — standardization that enables, not constrains.
The strategy that lives in a binder is not strategy. The strategy that shapes thousands of small daily decisions — that is strategy.
What I have learned in three decades is that capability is built through context, not content. Reflections on a long apprenticeship.
"Narendra brings the rare combination of strategic clarity and operational depth. He helps you see the system, not just the symptom."
"His mentoring shaped how I think about leadership. He asks the questions that matter — and waits for the real answers."
"We were stuck on our excellence journey. Narendra helped us understand the cause behind the cause. The rest followed."
If you are facing a significant business challenge, organizational issue, leadership dilemma or transformation journey, I would be glad to have a conversation.
